Marie Biscuit Cake

Ingredients:
  • 125 gms Marie biscuit
  • 50gms Sugar
  • 30gms butter
  • Vanilla essence
  • 1-1.5 cups of Milk
  • Butter/ Ghee for greasing
  • 6gms ENO plain salt
  • Cashew for toppings (optional)


Method:
  • Keep the cooker on your stove with water and start heating it.
  • Take 125 grams of Marie biscuit
  • put the biscuits in a mixer grinder and make it into powder
  • Add 50 grams of sugar and grind it as a powder along with biscuit
  • Melt 30 grams of butter in oven and add to the mixture
  • Add a few drops of vanilla essence into the mixture
  • Transfer the mixture now in to a mixing bowl and slowly add milk and the consistency should be like sauce (approx 1-1.5 cups)
  • Take a vessel of choice and grease it with butter/ghee and keep it aside
  • Add 6 grams of plain eno fruit salt into the mixture and start mixing it
  • Pour this mixture into the baking vessel that you have prepared
  • Keep this vessel into the cooker and steam it for 20 minutes do not put weight
  • Switch off the stove take the vessel out let it cool down
  • Turn the vessel upside down on a plate
  • Your vannila cake is ready to serve.
  • Optionally you can make some topping for the cake.
