Bread Uppma 2

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups bread diced
  • 1 cup peas-cooked
  • 1/2 cup peanuts-roasted and crushed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 sp udad dal
  • 1 sp channa dal
  • 10-15 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp green chillies-finely chopped
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 - 4 garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


Method:
  • Heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, udad dal, channa dal, curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Then add garlic and onion.
  • Fry well, add peas, peanuts and turmeric and cook for a while.
  • Add bread and mix well.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Sprinkle some water and carefully mix.
  • If you are going to use lemon juice, add now.
  • Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
