- 2 cups Aval (thick varity) Poha
- 1 Potatoes (boiled and cubed)
- 1 Onions
- 1 Green Chilly
- 1 tsp Chana dal
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 Curry leaves
- 2 tsp Peanuts optional
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil
- 1 sp lemon juice
Method:
- In a deep pan pour oil and make seasoning.
- Add onion and chilly.
- Add potato cubes and fry well.
- Add turmeric powder if you want colour.
- Add drained poha/ aval and salt.
- Mix well. make the stove sim and mix again.
- Add coriander leaves and lemon juice.
- Remove from the fire and serve as it is.
- Or serve with thick curd.
Notes:
- You can add cooked peas or grated carrots or beet roots in this according to your childs taste.
- Or even you can avoid green chilly.
